Aramco Malaysia celebrates countrys 63rd National Day

Aramco Malaysia office recently celebrated the 63rd National Day for Malaysia. Having established a presence in Malaysia since 2018, the office is delighted to have marked the special day with our Malaysian colleagues. They proudly showcased the beautiful and diverse national costumes representing Malaysia as a symbol of peace and unity, and the traditional, delicious local delicacies. Themed “Malaysia Prihatin” – which means “Malaysia Cares”, it reflects the pledge of all Malaysians to care for each other especially during this challenging time in dealing with the Covid-19 global pandemic. Malaysia's National Day is celebrated on 31 August every year.

“Malaysia is a vital investment destination for Aramco as part of our expanding global downstream portfolio and we are pleased to celebrate the National Day with our beloved Malaysian colleagues; who are also our important assets”

Saad Al-Qahtani, Managing Director, Aramco Malaysia

The National Day is celebrated with much splendor signifying the unity of Malaysians. Towns and cities throughout the country are decorated with flags and shimmering lights. In a patriotism spirit, office buildings, homes, and even vehicles proudly display the Malaysian flag and organize various celebrations in great peace and unity. The celebrations continue until Sept 16, 2020 where Malaysia Day is celebrated to remember the historical day on Malaysia's official formation as a country.
