Aramco Malaysia contributed to the STEM-based CSR program, PINTAR-Aramco Mobile Learning Unit, with the theme "Sports Science Education". The program will help inspire students and help them gain the required skills to succeed.
For the next two years, the program will be one of Aramco Malaysia's flagship outreach initiatives. A thematically tailored vehicle will be equipped with STEM education tools and interactive learning stations that will visit schools in peninsular Malaysia. The curriculum combines experiential learning with fun elements to stimulate schoolchildren's interest in the learning process (ages 7–12), an alternative to the conventional classroom approach. The STEM mobile learning unit will commence and launch in May 2023. The unit is expected to reach 50,000 students during its run.
In his remarks during the ceremony, Mr. Ayman M. Hoho, Managing Director of Aramco Malaysia, said, "Aramco continues to support efforts to increase students access to STEM subjects. Education using an innovative approach, such as the PINTAR-Aramco Mobile Learning Unit, will allow hands-on learning with real-world applications, help students boost a broad range of skill sets, and more importantly, foster their curiosity and encourage them to develop more scientific questions that will unleash their potential."
Dr. Rahimah Adam, Deputy Director of the Daily School Management Division at the Ministry of Education, was also present at the ceremony and witnessed the cheque presentation between Managing Director Aramco Malaysia, Mr. Ayman M. Hoho, and PINTAR Foundation General Manager, Madam Norzalina Masom.
