News|Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA|

Aramco Malaysia has donated USD 215,000 to Malaysia Green Foundation (YHM), an entity under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change (NRECC), to support sustainable education and renewable energy initiatives implemented by YHM through the Green Guardian Program.

The cheque was presented by Mr. Ayman M. Hoho, Managing Director of Aramco Malaysia, to Mr. Wan Muhammad Hazirim Wan Mustapha, Head of YHM's Project Development Division, in the presence of the Minister of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change, H.E Tuan Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.

This innovative program aims to adopt the concept of "edutainment," combining education and entertainment to engage and inspire young minds about environmental issues and sustainable practices. The Green Guardian Program is specifically designed for students aged 5 to 12 years old.

With a target to impact 20,000 students, the program will play a vital role in nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious individuals over the course of two years. By instilling a deep understanding of sustainability and renewable energy at such a young age, Aramco Malaysia hopes to create a lasting legacy that will shape future minds and advocates for the environment. This collaboration between Aramco Malaysia and the Malaysia Green Foundation highlights their shared commitment towards fostering a more sustainable future for Malaysia.

Mr. Ayman M. Hoho, Managing Director of Aramco Malaysia, said: " As we strive towards sustainable growth, so does our dedication and initiatives to leave an enduring legacy of protecting the planet. Aramco continues to demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship. We aspire to make a significant difference in the lives of young Malaysians and contribute to the conservation of the environment for future generations by supporting programs such as the Green Guardian Program."
